"Just drop Abel, I promise I'll catch you." Cain called up in a shouted whisper to his brother who was half hanging out of the second floor window of the orphanage they had been living in for a bit.
They had decided they didn't want to be there. They didn't overly get along with the others but that was mostly Cain's fault. He got jealous if other people wanted to play with Abel and they did often pull tricks and other bad things.

"Okay, here I go," Abel said, trusting his brother and letting go of the ledge. He fell against him, bringing them both to the ground. "You okay?" he asked, looking down at his flattened twin.

"OOF!" Cain called as he was flattened. "God... why do you have to eat so much at every meal. You weight a ton" Cain complained pushing his mirror image off of him.

"Because you don't eat enough your scrawny arms cant' support me," Abel huffed, standing up and brushing himself off. "Hurry, we need to try and get out of here before they find us missing."

"Yeah. Someone might have heard you crush me." He said shoving him but dashing across the lawn as fast as he could. Only looking back once to make sure Abel was with him.

Abel was neck and neck with his brother, running and darting down an alleyway. They jumped a couple of fences and went down a few empty streets before leaning back against the wall of an old storage shed, grinning at his brother. "So how long until Miss Lynn finds us missing and flips her soggy lid?"

Cain was smiling back at him. "Not until she does the night check and with her old eyes she'll probably believe the pillows under the sheets are us." He said with a little laugh. He took in a deep breath and slowly let it out. "Well, not sure how long we have till we get caught but for now.... we're free." He said happily.

Abel flopped back happily sitting, his hands behind his head. "It's a good feeling," he said. "Want to explore a bit?" he asked.

"Sure. Maybe we can find something to eat." He commented feeling a little hungry.

"Your fault for not eating more at breakfast," Abel said, peeking out at the street. "Okay, we need to blend in." he looked down at their plain white shirts and drab pants from the orphanage. "Maybe no one will notice us."

Oki sat outside the small cafe with a book and a cup of tea, enjoying a day away from community service. A part of her told her that she should be home, finding something productive to do there, but ever since the second shattering of her balcony door she hadn't felt as secure there any more. So she was here, trying to lose herself in the pages of a novel while listening absently to the people passing by on the street.

"Yeah, It's not like we stand out at all. We look like we broke out of the looney bin. Lets try and swip some cloths. There has got to be some people who leave there wash on the line at night." He said looking around.

Abel walked past the cafe table, looking slightly sullen as he passed since no one outside had bought any pastries. He only saw a cup of tea and he wasn't about to snatch that.

Oki nodded her thanks to the waitress as she brother out a sandwich and placed it on the table. This place suited her insomnia well. She pushed the sandwich aside for the time being and continued to read her book. She noticed the two young boys, but only paid them scant attention. She didn't recognize them from the Academy.

Cain glanced at the sandwich, the girl reading the book and then looked ahead again. "Sandwich.... 7 o'clock." Cain said to Abel.
