"Can't hide it forever," Suoh nodded. "Your family's probably a good place to start since you and I both know and my sister knows."

Riki nodded, but didn't move. "Just hold me for a little while," she whispered into his chest and continued to silently cry...

Suoh nodded and continued to rock her.

Riki stayed in Suoh's arms for a long time. So long that she eventually began to shiver in the cool evening air, still dripping wet from being in the hot springs, but she didn't even seem to notice the cold, she had far too much on her mind...

Suoh noticed her shivering and tried to wrap himself further around her. "Your cold. You should go dry off and change, even if we don't go talk to your father today. The last thing is to get sick on top of this."

Riki looked up at him, and gently pulled his lips down to meet her own. Very softly, and despite her jaw clinking, she kissed him. "Ok," she said, letting her tiny hand linger on his cheek a moment before actually heading off to get dried off and dressed...

Suoh lightly returned her kiss and went to wait for her to change. He had no idea what to do any more, or how he was going to accomplish any of the things he knew he should do.

Riki came back out a little while later in her chair and hesitantly looked up at Suoh again. "Can... can it be j-just between us f-for o-one more n-ight?" she asked him. All she wanted to do was to spend the night in Suoh's arms. In the morning, when hopefully she would have no tears left, then they could tell who needed to be told...

Suoh nodded and tried to force a small smile. "However long you want," he said quietly. This was about her right now, and the first thing he wanted to do was stop her tears. He hated seeing women cry, although witnessing it and being part of the cause was a novel experience. If she could stop crying, they could figure out what to do.

"Thank you," she said weakly and actually waited for him to push her chair this time, as opposed to making sure that he walked beside her like last time. She wasn't sure she still had the strength in her arms right now...

Suoh stepped up and began to push her. "So where are we going?"

"Somewhere we can be alone together... I just want you to hold me," she said in little more than a whisper, her hands fidgeting in her lap while she watched the ground roll beneath her...

"We can try Oki's, or we can get a room somewhere for the night. Whatever you want, Riki."

Riki just nodded for the first choice. Oki's would be fine. She already knew, and Riki really trusted her... Silently, she began to cry again and her chest heaved subtly as they walked... She wished she would hurry and run out of tears, she didn't want to cry anymore...

Suoh nodded and began to wheel Riki towards the appartment. People were starting to stare, and he couldn't muster the energy or the feeling to care. He just felt numb.
"We're sure, right? No chance that there's a mistake?"
