Lenore looked around, trying to see if she could find anything that might suggest a door. Not seeing anything, she bent down at the side of the pool, and tried pulling one of the crystals free.

Kaliri looked at Lenore amusedly as she struggled to undo one of the crystals,a nd then just made the crystal release itself. She then turned back to Kumori. "Actually, there are countless chambers down here. I could show you all of them, but you'd have to pack a lunch..."

Kumori smiled, "Well, now that depend on weither you would like to show us these rooms today, or if you would just like to return home?" he asked as he reached inside his coat ready to unseal another scroll that held picnic supplies in it.

Kaliri giggled behind her hand, and turned back to answer Kumori's question. "I guess I could show you a little bit more today. No reason why not." She looked up through the hole in the ceiling and muttered to herself. "It's four thirty, but I guess I don't have to make dinner for anyone..."

"Well, do we want to eat now, or would we like to explore the caves some more first?" Kumori asked, taking his hand out of his coat, and looking over at Lenore. "I like to be prepared for anything."

"Clearly" Lenore stated sarcastically, and proceeded to watch the two, as was her way.

"Hmm? Oh, we can eat later. I'm just trying to think where to take you next...." Kaliri ran through a basic inventory of the rooms there were left. There was almost enough room for a small community to function down here. There was a training facility, a barracks, council chambers, a tunnell to the outside that was blocked up a bit, something that was for all intents and purposes a nursery. There was an area that was once used as a medical facility, though now it looked more like a secondary barracks. There was even a park, though for all the way everything was made out of dirt, it could just as easily been another training ground. Thinking back on the stories her mother had told her, she supposed in a way it was. "This whole area was used as a hideout for my mothers clan, long ago, in some war or another." Kaliri began leading them down a hall, talking as she went. "The Village had been overrun by the enemy, so the oath-sealers brought all those with them who were reliant on them. It was used at the time to make more vigilant ninja. The jutsu, I mean, not the area. When those the ninja had sworn an oath to were in danger, the whole clan would go and extract them and their families, bring them down here. In turn, an oath was sealed to the families never to speak of this place. For that reason, many of our generation don't know this place exists. But there are still many who will remember being here. They won't speak of it, but they know it's here. Still others will always puzzle the mystery of the stories of their friends, and how they were able to accomplish it all, for not all ninja were brought here. Some were exiled. At first it was only the barracks. But then..." Kaliri rounded a corner, and pointed to a piece of the wall in a corridor, where a mural of sorts could be seen. "My father met my mother. My father was the earth-moving jutsu. They found him on a hunt one day, they looking for provisions for the community, he looking for buyers for his produce. They brought him here, and he built this empire. He says he did it for my mother." For a moment, Kaliri turned slightly towards Kumori, but she stopped herself before they made eye contact, and continued on down the hallway. "They created this place, together, my mother and father. My mother was the head of the jutsu users in the family at that time, and my father was the one who had the abilty to create this place in the physical. Her love and his determination created a safe haven for the ninja in the area. From this place, they launched attack after attack, and the usurpers in the village main had no idea it was coming from beneath their own floors. In the same way, we attacked and weakened them from the inside, tearing down their defences at the foundation. Here, we made it possible for the exiled nin's of Konoha to retake the village." She stopped and laid a hand on a wall, and a door fell into dust at her feet, revealing a training ground. "We conditioned them, trained them, turning out great nin's one after another. Many families had their greatest spring boards here. They knew their jutsus well, and here, they got to know them better. Here, a great moment of Konoha history." For a moment, she looked sad, as though thinking of this next part broke her heart. "When the fighting was done, my mother asked my father to come into the village, live with us, in a place of honour where he deserved to be for his part in saving the village. My father refused, saying he had a life beyond the village. He left through the exit tunnell." Kaliri gestured over her shoulder, beyond the pool, out the way they'd come. "And my mother stayed here. For three long years, they didn't see each other. Each assumed the other had forgotten them, or was dead. Then one day, a mission of my mother's brought her within sight of my father's farm." Here, she brightened a bit, as they moved to the other side of the training chamber. "They decided they would never again be apart. And there they lived peacefully, until I was born." She came to a mural on the other side, obviously made in a different style, but with gemstones, and precious metals in the mix.
"This is the story of Konoha's underground."

Kumori listened to the story intently, having not heard of this war Kaliri talked about. But always wanting to know more about the history of his village. He looked at each of the murals Kaliri pointed out, enjoying the tour of the underground complex.

Lenore followed from room to room. In theory, this tour was Kumori's fault, but Lenore dind't mind so much. She wondered what this place would have been like in it's glory day. "Hey," As a thought occurred to her. "What if we... you know, repopulated this place?"

(OOC: Lol. sorry guys! I'm paying attention now!) Kaliri turned to look at Lenore. "What do you mean, like.... bring people down here again?" Kaliri sounded like the idea had occurred to her. In fact, she had been thinking along the same lines, but the sheer amount of work! Not only that, but she didn't know if she liked the idea of all kinds of strangers walking around in her family's legacy. It was the only place she knew of that was special, because she, and only she, had complete access to it. She felt extremely sentimental about it, and felt a panic pang at the thought of dozens of feet stirring the dust, of dozens of eyes so blatantly unappreciative of her personal history. Of the place where she began.

"I don't think we should repopulate it just yet." Kumori said sencing Kaliri's discomfort, "But it seems like a great place for us to train without anyone knowing exactly what we are training in, so that no one will know exactly what we are capable of. Also there is plenty of stone for you to work with to increase your strength with your jutsu."

Lenore shrugged. "I didn't mean let's start bringing people down today. But I'm thinking that even cleaning the place up could be training enough. Kaliri with her earth jutsu, me with my physical training, and Kumori with his shadows... I mean, if you can catch and hold a person, why not catch and hold things, or learn to move them? Much easier to grab something out of reach, say, before it hits someone, if you can grab hold of it from a distance... Just saying..."

Kaliri looked around as what Lenore was saying Dawned on her. "We could.... it would be an excellent way to train new students, too.... There's so much we could do with this place..." She lost a bit of steam here. "But.........."
