"Well, the first step is to figure out what can and what can not be salvaged," Yuki said by way of agreeing with her. "Takara, perhaps you could be on triage detail. Otomeken, whatever is no good, perhaps you could bring out to me, and I'll start setting up tools to replace what can't be saved. Does that work for the two of you?"

Takara looked at him for a moment, "... uh, what's tirage?"

Otomeken laughed at the analogy. "It means you get to decide who's got a good enough chance of making it to be worthy to see the wood doctor here, and who get's to just lay down and die," she said putting on a pair of thin gloves and preparing to get to work...

Yuki nodded towards Otomeken. "Basically. Same as the lower level medical nins would do here if there was a disaster. If you were going to die no matter what, there's no point in wasting the doctor's time with you when he could be busy attending to someone who might make it..."

"Oh... so I get to decide what we're going to save? I think I can do that," she said with a little grin.

"Common," Otomeken said taking her by the arm and grabbing a hammer and crowbar. "Let's get to it," she said with a smile...

Yuki laughed and started setting up work benches and saws and everything else he would need outside of the academy so he could get to work when the girls brought anything out. The next time they came out, Takara would see him like she never had before... Nail bag slung around his waiste, pencil behind the ear, thin work gloves, and already covered in a thin layer of saw dust from squaring the ends of some of the planks he had brought with them...

Takara marked out what couldn't be salvaged and what she thought just needed work, though much of it was guess work on her part.

Bassed on what Takara was telling her, Otomeken started tearing apart walls, or bringing desks outside to Yuki so that he could start cutting and fitting replacement boards...

Yuki didn't ask any questions at all, he simply set to work measuring the old boards and pieces that were brought out to him, and making replacements from new wood. In no time at all, he was drenched with sweat from the hot sun beating down on him, but he seemed to love every second of it, and didn't stop for a break at all...

Otomeken whiped sweat from her own brow, looking a little tired. "Ok, is that everything?" she asked Takara on their last trip outside...

By the time Takara started coming outside, Yuki was already covered in sawdust, and had all the boards cut to replace several walls, parts of floors, and was currently assembling a few of the new desks he had made.
"Ok, if that is all, do you guys know how to install these things, or do you want to go into town and pick up a few replacement windows while I work on that?"

"I'm no carpenter, but I've helped people before and I can follow directions, so you can choose," Takara decided.
