I've made it this far without them.
Akira said still not sure having friends was a good move.
So what's the difference of being a friend and knowing someone.

"Well, knowing someone, you don't talk to them much and don't know too much about them. Friends share their thoughts a lot of the time, hang around and have fun." Kaida shrugged. "It's a little hard to explain, it's just like a feeling you get around friends, like you can't wait to be around them and just to be natural. Around your friends you can just act like yourself and they like you for who you are."

"Yeah. I still want to get to know you better though." Kaida said, watching the stone skip. "But I won't press you to tell me anything you don't feel comfortable saying. I can understand if there are things you need to keep to yourself, but don't close yourself off from people completely. I'm here to listen if you ever need to talk about anything troubling you."

I don't think I could talk long enough to tell everything that troubles me.
Akira said then turned and looked Kaida. Akira was starting to get despreate for money and had been putting his pride to the side lately.
So friend of mine. Got any money I could have or work I could do to obtain some money?

"I don't have money on me at the moment but my grandmother would be pleased of somebody who could clear out the gutters of our house. She'll pay you well for it too." Kaida smiled. "Sorry, it's the best I can do at the moment."

They reached her house and she smiled at him. "Welcome to my home. I'll tell Grandma you're here. Do you want to get something to eat or drink before you get to work?" She asked, propping her baton up in the porch.

"Okay. I'll get you a bucket." Kaida said, walking inside and then returning moments later with a large bucket and some tools to help loosen what was blocking the gutters and then pointed out where it appeared to be blocked. "That okay?" She asked with a smile after explaining.

Akira looked up at the gutter. the things he did for money. He didn't look around for a ladder or anything, he simply walked right up the side of the house untill he was on the roof and started to clear the gutter. The gutter was packed with crud.
Has this thing ever been cleaned before?
Akira asked not sure if everything in this gutter was actually nonliving.
