Well, I've figured out that Lauja is definitely in with your snakeman." Lenore said, snapping into business mode after misinterpreting Yuki's shift in tone from jesting to brisk. "I know from asking questions, and doing a lot of reading, what the snakeman wants. Lauja always wants the same thing. I'm thinking the three in the vision around you were all... connected in that they were leaving her. So, for some reason, that's... part of the timeline I guess... as soon as that..." Lenore spat. "Woman-thing.... leaves, that'll close off that step. After that, I'm still drawing up some very untidy ends."

Yuki's mind hung on "woman thing" for a moment, but figured he already knew the answer to that question before needing to ask. "Ok... And... What is it that Lauja and Orochimaru want? ... Exactly?" Yuki had a rough idea of the answer to this question as well, but if Lenore could offer him better insight, possibly that wasn't her saying 'your death,' he would perhaps have something much better to go on....

Lenore looked up and blinked in the direction of Yuki, still hidden by the blasted mists, and then frowned. "Well, the snakeman wishes to destroy Konoha. Lauja wishes to destroy life. together, they wish to destroy all the life... in Konoha." She explained this as if having to slow it down, for a child, and then turned her hed slightly and muttered something that, unless you were a blind woman seeing with your eyes, no one was going to catch. "I don't think it's necessarily the physical village, but the people within it he seeks to destroy. After he's taken all he can from them, of course. What would he want with a bunch of houses and a hidden training ground?" Behind the mist, Lenore realized she'd said one thing too much. Her eyes popped open, and her jaw dropped. Her hand flew up to rest in the air just in front of her mouth, and she thanked the the mist that her physical reaction to her verbal blunder wasn't seeable because of the damnable mist.

Of course, the cool air was rapidly warming and the mist was fading, even if it was still enough to obscure vision. But Yuki hadn't let his guard down. He could sense the mood change in the air, and Lenore's air about her. If her words were anything that Yuki hadn't expected to hear, he might have realized why the change, but it was nothing he hadn't been expecting... "As much as I figured," he said simply saving the mood change away for later rather than pursuing it...
Slowly, Yuki's form was becoming visible again, but he was looking off into the distance rather than to Lenore, and as always, he still had his sunglasses on, even though the rest of him was naked except for a henge... "And it all begins to go down hill when Otomeken goes home... Does she have some role in preventing this from happening, or is it simply a marker of prophetical time?"

Lenore was relieved that yuki didn't seem to have caught her slip. She needed to order her verbal conversation better. "Well, if she doesn't fall to the poison, I think it would be safe to say that it would alter the entire course, if only just slightly. If Kumori and the Uchiha girl aren't consumed by shadow and fire respectively, or Kaliri blinded by sorrow, and that woman doesn't join your snakeman, there's a chance that the whole thing could be changed. I've been led to believe this was a symbolic representation." She straightened herself a bit, and leaned towards Yuki's general direction a bit. "I think the first vision was meant to lead me here, not just for Lauja, but for the village, too. the second was meant to be a warning of the disaster on the mountain. I think the third one was meant to be a demonstration of the way each individual person's path would converge on the battle. I have many theories about how it's all going to play out, but I don't know enough about the people. If I wanted, I could know more about the Uchiha girl, and that disastous excuse for a woman, but other than that, Kaliri is pretty straightforward, but vague, at the same time. Kumori I'll never know I guess, with him gone, and then there's you, and a few people I don't recognize. Maybe I simply have not crossed their paths yet." She looked at Pishka. "That would be bad luck, yes, my little friend?" she patted the purring kitten.

Yuki nodded. Now he felt as if she'd said something too much, or unintentional... but maybe it was his memory fading. "Poison?" he asked simply. He understood most of hte rest of it, and how prophesy could be changed... but with the woman's sever distaste for Otomeken... He just had to check.... Then he could ask about what all Lenore wanted to know about him that she didn't already...

Lenore nodded and flicked a strand of hair with her fingers. "Yes, the consumption I saw looked most like poison. That's what we agreed on, remember? That tramp falling to the poison that would kill all that was her, and yet leave behind a corrupted yet functioning shell... " She looked sharply up at him. "Do you not recall our discussion in that place you sent us to?"

Yuki splashed some water up into his face. "Most of it, but it's been a while, and there has been a lot of other things to deal with too. I just had to make sure I was on the same page..." He settled back against the stone. "Ok... so you want to know me do you? What do you want, or need, to know exactly?" he asked, preparing for the barrage of questions that he was by now quite used to, coming from the sand and all...

Lenore thought about this for a moment. "I suppose the most important thing at this point is why you would be included in these visions. In my experience, the figures that show up in the visions are for a reason. That's why the visions of Kumori, the Uchiha girl and Kaliri wandering through the woods was so important. Guidance was necessary. I just don't what kind of guidance. It's possible that because you were the catalyst for the next vision, you are that necessary guidance. But what makes you the candidate? I wish I knew more about this war with the snakeman."

Yuki nodded slowly and rhythmically... "Well... The snakeman, Orochimaru, used to be a part of this village. He was known as one of the three legendary senin; Tsunade, Jyira, and Orochimaru. When the fourth Hokage was killed, it was decided to return the village to the third. Orochimaru however, thought he should have been named fifth hokage. As so the vengence stirred in him and poisoned him. He left the village and began his pursuit of power. It became his goal to learn every jutsu known. In addition to this... All possible blood limits... That's where I fit in. I am the last of my clan, and the last who can cross the veil. My family was part of the reason Orochimaru killed the kazekage and attempted to infiltrate Konoha at the last chuunin exam. That was when he slaughtered my clan. But he didn't get what he wants, and he still wants me..." Yuki sighed and looked up to see if he was telling her anything she needed, or if it was all old information...

Lenore listened raptly to the story, detached, and analytical. She nodded as the story came to an end. "So, he looks for family-only jutsus. You call them Blood limits? That thing you did taking me into the blank world? that's kind of like The Uchiha girl's eyes, and Kaliri's oath-... uh... okay, so things only the family can do. But that still doesn't answer why the visions seem to be putting you at the head of the battle. It seems to me that the ones that are going to fight this war aren't the ones expected to..." Her eyes fell from Yuki's as she looked off under the water, trying to piece it together.

"I don't know. Because it's me he wants... And because I want to be the one to finish him for what he did to my family... But, at the same time, the Hokage won't let me go into that kind of abattle. I'd probably lose, and if I did, and Orochimaru gained my blood limit... with his knowledge... What then?" Yuki had rationalized this to himself and to the hokage a million times already... he was getting to know the ins and outs pretty well....

Lenore nodded. "Well, I mean... I don't know, if you're the ONLY one he wants. I'm sure there's other things he doesn't have. You'd be, strategically, a wonderful aquisition, but you're not the only thing he doesn't seem to have. Nevertheless, my visions seemed to indicate you were at least at the head of a group of children. the rest of the village looked... deserted, and eerie. They arose from the earth..."

"They?" Yuki asked. "They as in Orochimaru and his flock, or me and the children?" Yuki hated visions. They were puzzels, which he enjoyed, but they were elusive, and even if you knew the answer... You didn't know you knew...

Lenore waved her hand in Yuki's general direction. "Oh, us, not them. But that's already been sorted out, I think." She said dismissively. "Still, " She ventured. "I think we've found what we were looking for..." She peered through what was let of the mist, looking intently at Yuki, before jumping to herself, and pouring water over her back.
