Skye sat on the upper limbs of a tree in the park, watching some kids playing below. The power of a child's imagination was fascinating. In an instant, a stick could become a sword, and the slide a monstrous snake to slay. It was a shame that as they aged, such creative dynamism would dull, until a stick was just a stick, and a slide was just a slide. He continued to watch as the children laughed and ran around, lost in their own world of play.

From the ground music from a flute sailed upwards. The song was more happy but still alittle solume. It didn't seem like any song writen as it got random and changed almost into a different song. Someone was playing it and making it up as they went along.

Skye looked curiously down, trying to pinpoint the source of the music.

It was hard to see Kuraudo from above as he was under another tree a few feet away. He contuined to play away as the wind seemed to gently pick up around the area now as it looked like the grass around him was dancing to the music as well as the tree above him as well.

Oki wended her way through the park, happy for the brief break from her studies and training; she had been taking it too seriously lately, being consumed by the need to master a seemingly impossible technique. The park was a distraction from that.
She smiled faintly, seeing the children, and continued along her way. The flute music reached her ears, and she thought she recognized the style. She turned to start towards it.

Skye jumped down from the tree, landing on his feet and turning his head around in the direction of the sound, walking over to see Kuraudo playing.
"You play well," he said, after watching for a moment.

He didn't move at first or ackowledge someone was there. The song picked up as there was a flurry of notes that just ended in a long low note as he finally set the flute down. "Thank you I just seemed to pick up on it very easily."

Oki approached until she could see Kuraudo, but hesitated when she saw someone else there, someone she didn't recognize. She didn't want to intrude upon them, so she hung back undecidedly.

"So you just began playing?" Skye noticed someone out of the corner of his eye and turned his head to look at Oki.

"No it's just something I always did since as long as I can remember." Which really wasn't too long but it was true. He turned his head as he followed Skye's gaze as he saw a familure face. He waved with one hand as he slowly got up. "Hi Oki"

Oki blushed as she was noticed by both the stranger and Kuraudo; now it looked like she had been listening in. But she forced a smile and stepped forward.
"Hi, Kuraduo! And... um... I actually don't think we've met," she said, turning to Skye and extending her hand. "I'm Oki."

Skye stared at it for a moment as if he wasn't used to getting such a gesture. He brought his hand forward and lightly shook it once before releasing.
"My name is Skye. I usually don't like drawing attention to my presense in most cases, but the music intrigued me. Such life." He cocked his head to the side and regarded Kuraudo.

"He he.. well the music usually refelctes what the player is feeling most times. So I guess I'm livly." He rubed the back of his head looking to the two of them.

Oki smiled at both Skye and Kuraudo.
"Kuraudo is a wonderful musician; any given day you can be walking somewhere int he village and hear his flute from somewhere near by."

"Music is very powerful. Not only does it reflect the emotions of the player, but also has the ability to manipulate the emotions of the listeners," Skye stated to no one in particular.
