Klairi looked from otomeken to Chouji once more, took a deep breath, and rose from the table, leaving her bag and her drink behind. She entered the shop and paused at the counter, clasping her hands in front of her. "uh... Chouji-sama?" She said, not entirely sure of the best way to greet the older boy. "My name is Okanei Kaliri. I would like to ask you some questions, if you're not too busy." She bowed, remaining there for a moment before looking up.

"O-hyo," Choji said and smiled politely. "What can I do for you?" He asked as he turned to flip some very fattening looking pancakes in their pans...

Klairi organized her thoughts for a minute, then decided the straightforward approach would be best.

Choji took on a very serrious face, for this girl had a very serrious question that pertained to food. From below the counter, he took up a small leafy plant. From this, he began to give her an in-depth lecture on what the plant was, what vitamins it held, what it could be used for, and how the best way to take it, was raw, as it was, but cleaned- of course...

Kaliri hadn't expected to be getting a lecture so suddenly, and shot Otomeken a pointed look, a plaintive look... a panicked look.

Otomeken, of course, couldn't see and just continued to sit there and relax as Choji continued to give Kaliri every in and out of the root and it's uses...

Kaliri opened her mouth slightly, allowing a tiny, indistinguishable "HELP!" To squeak out from her mouth, inaudible to most but Otomeken. She coughed a little to cover up the noise in regards to chouji. "Uh, uh.... Chouji-san. Please...." She was trying to be both polite by not interrupting, and simultaneously get him to stop talking so she could stem the overflowing tide of information she had no way to organize or record.

Choji smiled and scratched his head a little self consciously as Otomeken was getting up to walk in. "Oh... Sorry," he said. "I... I guess I can sell you a recipe book for just these instances if that helps..."

Kaliri, her eyes still wide, nodded faintly, then closed her mouth and nodded. She swallowed, and tried again.
"You could. And I'd be glad to buy one, but I'd like to know what the best herbs would be, like, to use in every day cooking, to help stave off chakra exhaustion during a normal day..."

"Oh!" Choji said very excitedly once more. "Why didn't you say so?" Choji took out a small box that looked to be filled with something like Oragano, and jotted down some quick instructions. "This is what you need!"
Otomeken by this time had walked in and was standing just a few feet behind Kaliri...

"Uh..." Kaliri watched the older boy write from the other side of the counter.
She looked at Otomeken, to see what the other girl's reaction would be.
She turned her attention then, back to Chouji.
"I'm sure I'd like to come and learn about other herbs and edible plants, maybe sometime later..." She put forward, not wanting to dissapoint the young man, and also interested in learning whatever could make her a better ninja.

Choji nodded emphatically, and scrawled a small price for the herbs on the bottle and instructions, giving it over to Kaliri.
Otomeken meanwhile, seemed to have no interest on the dealing and simply leaned against the wall waiting patiently...

Klairi reached into her bag, and pulled out a little purse. She was getting down to her last little bit of money, and figured she'd have to start selling some of the things from the tunnells.
She reached in and pulled out just enough to cover the cost of the herbs, and felt her fingers scrape the bottom of the satchel with a feeling like sandpaper, giving testament to the bags light and not-so-free feeling.
She picked up the bottle, and put it, alongside with the purse, into the bag, and nodded to Chouji.
She bowed to the older boy, and thanked him for his time.
As she turned to walk back to the table, for her drink and such, she muttered under her breath, not even thinking about the fact that Otomeken could hear it. "if I wanted a lecture, I could have spent the day with Lenore..."

"She likes to give them about just about everything, doesn't she," Otomeken said, but it was in a more joking fashion than anything as she too returned to her seat...
