It was a plesant afternoon, as it was an overcast day. The clouds were grey but fears of rain were no where in sight. The grass was a sweet smell from the nice sunny day before as the flowers were still slightly in bloom. At first there was the sound of the breeze rolling through the tree branches. It would grow louder and fainter as it normaly would, till there was a loud snap! Followed by several other snaps and rustling in the bushes as someone was running through them as quickly as they could. The breathes grew louder and louder as Kurado burst out into the field. He spined around as he raised his hand to one side and formed a blade of wind and slashed at the ground below his feet. Dust and dirt flew outwards like an explosion. Blades of grass danced about before they droped back down. Kurado vanished as something else rustled in the bushes that was following him. Trying their best to emerge out from witch Kurado just emerged from.

Oki couldn't have picked a better day for a run. Without the direct sunlight, it was just the perfect temperature to really push herself and since there was no immediate threat of rain, she had gone a fair distance from the village so as not to be disturbed. She liked this little used area of the park because it offered all manner of obstacles for her. Currently, she was challenging herself by jumping over low bushes and deadfall from the trees.
She felt the muscles in her legs bunch and she prepared to jump the log, her ponytail bouncing against her back and the thrill of the release once she was int he air. Her sneakers hit the ground with a soft, satisfying thump and she continued on without so much as slowing her stride. She was beginning to breathe heavily when she spotted the other runner. The figure was too far away to recognize, but judging from their gate, they were in trouble and running frantically. Oki quickened her stride and veered in the direction of the other runner.

The runner seemed to have vanished from sight but then again they could have collasped on the ground. The bushes to one side rustled a bit more as something emerged out of it. It was hard to see since it was a small black puppy. It looked like it could have been the same one that followed Kurado 4 years ago but... it should have grown in that time. It slowly walked out into the middle of the field as it seemed to bark but it didn't bark in the normal sense. It almost sounded like it said where did he get to now? Of course that is just crazy to think of and there is many ways to explaine that. It slowly sat down as it looked like it was scanning the area with its eyes than rather sniffing out the scent.

Oki slows once she looses sight of the other figure, coming to a complete stop so she can look around. She approached the bushes slowly, senses on alert for any sign of trouble. She tensed as the bushes rustled, and watched as the black puppy wandered out. Having not been overly familiar with the one that used to follow Kurado around, Oki simply saw a small black dog and smiled, squatting down and holding her hand out to it.
"Hello fella! You're awful cute... Did you lose someone?"

It blinked for a moment as it shot up and waddled over to Oki. The cute puppy sniffed her hand and yiped up at her as to answer her question. It started to run around in circles for a moment and then get up on its hine legs and ruffled up its hair as to look like a spikey hair person. It was still hard to tell who it was looking for as the hair did seem familure. It looked like it was collarless and that it didn't officaly belong to anyone or it got lose on someone.

Oki smiled and ruffled its fur before tickling it under the chin. "You're a strange little fella, I'll give you that. Maybe I can help you fins whoever you're after..." She looked up and around again, trying to see f there was any sign of another person around.

It seemed to like being scratched as its tail waged happily for the moment. It barked again trying to explaine who it was looking for when there was a loud snap!! The dog turned on a dime and left the change as it shot off after the noise. For a small puppy the dog was running faster than most normal ones as it went faster and faster. Trying to catch up to the snap noise.

"Hey wait!"
Oki pushed herself up and began sprinting after the puppy. She had lost sight of the other person, and she was determined not to lose sight of the puppy.

With caution thrown to the wind the puppy charged straight into the bushes and onwards. It was aomost impossible to see the puppy now but you could tell what bush it was in as it was tearing right through them. It contuined on and on as there was a sudden yelp! and silence..... As Oki would hear as she follow there was the sounds of rushing water nearby upahead but by the sounds of things... there should have been a drop off here. There was a bridge down the way to cross here but if someone wasn't careful they would fall from a very frighting height. On a small ledge below the dog was hanging on with its front paws. Its small nails ripping at the rocks as it was slowly slipping. It was grring as it was using all its puppy might to get itself back up. It was down alittle ways and grabing it by the paw would be possible but it was going to be a close call if the dog doesn't lose its grip before that.

Oki reached the edge and without thinking performed a quick series of hand seals and focused her chakra. The river below began to churn and rise up, a column of water growing steadily and rapidly higher as it reached for the puppy. Gently, it would lift the puppy back up to level ground before receding back into the river below

The puppy yiped happily as it was happy to be off the edge of the clift. It looked back at the bushes that stoped moving and then looked up and down the river. It was too far to jump and way to far for the it to climb down but there was an old hanging bridge to go across. The dog shaked the extra water off of it and then scurried down the side towards the bridge. It started across the bridge jumping from one plank of wood to the next. It got alittle ways down the bdige as it started to sway back and forth. It contuiend on as its small paw broke the plank of wood it was on. It yelped but jumped forward with out stoping and contuined on. Till it came to a gap in front of it that was too far for the poor puppy to leap across. It sat down and started to whimper as it seemed sad it couldn''t cross now.

Oki watched the pup with mild bafflement. What was this poor dog after? She shook her head and followed after it, balancing along the the rope as she walked along. SHe didn't trust the wooden planks if such a small puppy could break through them. She walked until she reached the puppy and carefully bent down to try and scoop it up into her arms so she could carry it the rest of the way across.
"C'mon fella. Come nice and easy," she coazed.

The dog was increbily friendly as it yiped happily as it was picked up. Its tail waged happily as it beat against Oki as it waited impainetly to get across. It seemed like it wanted to go between two clift sides after what ever it was following. Thou it didn't seem to be an animal or they would have had some kind of sign of it by now.

Oki held the dog close to her body as she stood up and quickly walked to the other side of the bridge. Once back on solid ground, she relaxed her hold on the small dog just a little but didn't let him down. She looked about to see if she could spot what it was the puppy had been chasing.

The puppy wiggled more and more as it wanted to be free as it looked like it knew where to go. There was a beaten path so it seemed like they could have been folowing a person and till they caught up it was hard to know for sure who it was. The puppy waved its paw forward as if to direct Oki to follow the path between the clifts and onwards to what it is chasing.
