Yuki had a hard time maintaining his composure and his grin spread. "You survived a couple hours with Mrs. Harmony unscathed then... And still able to go back in for lunch... I guess Kurado has prepared you for anything..."
Yuki started to dust himself off, not wanting to track all the sawdust back into the resturant...

Oki laughed. "Remind me to thank him! She's not that bad, though, really. A bit transparent in her motivation, maybe, but it's kind of nice to know what another's agenda is from the get-go. She thinks very highly of you, though."

Yuki couldn't help but smile a little wider. "She has no one else. That's all." He said, finally cleaned up well enough. "Are you hungry enough for one of her meals?" he asked Oki before deciding whether or not to actually go inside...

Oki grinned. "Always! Although I'm really starting to suspect this was one of your elaborate plans, Yuki. It's not often I get asked to clean an already clean oven."

Yuki shrugged in the 'maybe it was, maybe it wasn't,' sort of fashion. "Really... Would I do something like that?" he said with the 'I'm up to something' smile as he walked back inside with Oki, casually putting one arm across her shoulders for a very brief one armed hug...

Oki played dumb, but when two and two made five she started to scrutinize things. She had suspected Yuki was up to something when she saw him under her balcony. Now she knew. She just didn't know what. For now perhaps it was better to just play along.
She returned Yuki's one armed hug and, quirking a brow, gave him a look that seemed to say riiiiiiight.
"Hrmm, let me think... How did Mrs. Harmony put it? Oh yeah! So you can show me that I'm a prize that you'll do anything to win, and you'll keep doing anything to keep me won?"

"What?" Yuki said, and wasn't putting on a show this time, he was genuinely surprised. "Oki... You're not some prize to be won or some trophy to throw on a shelf..." He looked almost apauled at the analogy Mrs. Harmony used for her. "If that's all you were, I wouldn't enjoy actually talking to you as well. You don't talk to prizes..." He had stopped moving when he said all this, not wanting to offend Mrs. Harmony as well, but now that they were in the doorway, the succulant smell of meatloaf drifted out to them...

Oki smiled and nudged Yuki playfully with her shoulder. "Relax, Yuki, I'm teasing. About the prize part, any way. I know you well enough to know when you're up to something. You try to come across so innocently and it just doesn't work."

Yuki remained serious for another second, and then tried to flutter his eye lashes a little -which failed since he was still wearing the dark glasses... "Who? Me?" he said and laughed, instead leading Oki in to where their dinner was waiting. Mrs. Harmony took the liberty of pulling down the blinds and lighting a couple candles to give them a romantic atmosphere...

Oki tried not to laugh, both at Yuki and the situation. Candlelit meatloaf dinners? Well, it certainly wasn't what came immediately to mind connected to a word like romantic, but beggers couldn't be choosers and she really didn't want to offend Mrs. Harmony. She wondered how much of this had been her idea and how much had been Yuki's as she took her seat at the table.

Yuki just shook his head. "At least she left the wine corked this time," he said with a forced innocent smile, leaving it just as unclear of who was responsible for this - he or Mrs. Harmony...
Yuki pulled the chair out for Oki...

"Thank you, Yuki," she smiled as she lowered herself into the chair. She eyed the bottle of wine skeptically.
"I think we should maybe stay out of that this time," she suggested.

Yuki nodded his agreeance. "It's a little early for that I think..." he said before sitting down himself and looking hungrilly at the meal. "It's not what you'd expect for candlelight... But it smells great..."

Oki nodded her agreement. "What is it about something that's home cooked that always smells so go?" she mused. "especially when it's someone else who's made it?"

Yuki nodded very enthusiastically. "Especially the second. I do all the cooking around the mannor, so this is a real treat when I get to come here..."
Yuki picked up his utensils and began to dig in...
