Fukurou gave her a far more puzzled look now. "I must insist, you are the guest, I'll serve this but... Didn't think I'd be interested in you?" He really didn't understand the statement. "I had asked you to join us for a meal on our previous encounter, why would I not be interested in having you join us now?"

Oki looked confused for a moment as she thought it all over. "Wait, you mean this isn't a date?"

Fukurou looked at her curriously again... "A date?" The concept of a date seemed foreign to him, and he was asking her to explain as he began lifting the supper that was tender enough to serve with a spoon...

Oki sat down at the table with a sigh.
"Oh boy..." she began. "Well, a date, I guess, is what you call when two people are physically attracted to one another and want to get to know each other better. You go do something, just the two of you, so you can talk. Something like have dinner, or go for a walk or go see a movie. The important thing is that it's the two of you and not a big group of people going out ot have a good time.
"So oyu talk, and touch a little, and there's a whole lot of awkwardness while you try to figure out if the other person is as interested in you as you are in them. And I mean interested here in a strictly romantic sense, since you're both obviously interested enough to be spending time together. If they are, then there's some kissing involved. If it goes really well after a couple of dates, there's some fondling, some petting..." she hesitated a moment, deciding to spell it out for him to avoid confusion. "I mean... touching each other under your clothes. Below the belt, kinda thing... And if all that goes well, then there's usually more kissing and then things get kinda sweaty, very naked, and pretty exciting."

Fukurou's jaw dropped further and further towards the ground the more she spelled it out and he nearly dropped the plate of food on the ground.
He snapped out of it, and brought two smaller plates to Kitsi and Ruu, who dug in with no ceremony...
"So, ummm," he said with a little squeek in his voice, accenting the awkwardness comment... "So... you mean... without a crowd... but that's not Kitsi and Ruu... and... I mean..." He was trying to concentrate on lifting Oki's plate and set it before her with a cup of green tea as opposed to wine that the situation might call for....
"And you... Are... Interested in me?" he said trying to wrap his head around that whole thing...

Oki blushed and picked at the hem of her shirt.
"I wouldn't be here if I wasn't," she said shyly.

A light blush filled Fukurou's cheeks and he turned to the spiggot to lift his own plate. He seemed to take this as more intruiging than anything, like a puzzle that needed to be solved... "You must forgive me Ms. Oki... I... I hadn't considered such a possibility..." He still sounded very awkward with his squeeky voice, but at least he spoke confidently. "But if it was a date you came expecting... Than a date it shall be. Provided you don't mind our company..." he said gesturing to Kitsi and Ruu - who gave him an 'I told you so' look...

Fukurou smiled. "Never have I met SUCH an interesting woman, Ms. Oki," he said. leaving it at least a little vague, though he was still blushing.
Ruu remained giving Fukurou the 'I told you so' stare.
"Please," Fukurou said, motioning to her plate. "Enjoy. I hope you do..."

"Thank you." Oki smiled and start to eat. The meal was delicious, and she gave every sign of enjoyment while she ate.
"You know, I've never met anyone quite like you Fukurou. I don't feel like I'm being pressured when I'm around you. Yuki's always seems to be wanting to prove that he's the one for me but... the harder he tries, the more he pushes me away. And then Baoh... well he's a case in himself." Oki looked over and smiled shyly. "But you... you're comfortable. I like being around you."

Fukurou looked a little puzzled by Yuki's name, it was no one he had ever met. But at the mention of Baoh, he groaned. He looked up quite embarassed. "Forgive my manners, but yes... Yes he is," he said, unconsciously rubbing the back of his neck. "His teaching methods... Are unorthadox... But I suppose I was warned of that before I met him..."
Fukurou shook his head. "But thank you. I aim to make my guests or... Dates... comforable." He thought for a moment. "Please, tell me if this is too forward to ask... But this, Mr. Yuki... He is a suitor of yours? But you do not wish him to be?"

Oki laughed. "You don't have to apologize about Baoh, Fukurou, I live with him. I could probably tell you stories. As for Yuki, well, he seems to just try too hard. He tries so hard to not push things that he doesn't realize he's pushing too hard, trying to show me how he feels when I already know. And he knows that I know. He's been doing this since we were both 14. And appearance wise... well I don't want to be rude...." She pauses for a moment, "but if you saw his hair..." She raises her hands to try and demonstrate the style, but then lowers one to try and muffle her giggle.

Fukurou's eyes widened for a second, and then laughed as well. "Don't worry... Your words, and giggles, shall not leave the forest," he said with a little bow, and took a few bites. "However... It sounds as if you enjoy his company, just not so much as a suitor, simply a friend?"

You could say that. He doesn't seem the type of person I'd end up with. He's a little to.... well he's just a friend we'll say.
Baoh on the other hand... There's a sort of wildness about him that gives off a sexy dangerous vibe and I can't help but be attracted to that a bit. He's fun to think about at least. But if I were to date someone, I'd prefer them to be a bit more like... Well, like you."

Fukurou looked at Oki as if he knew something he figured she did not. "I think I... mostly understand. An attraction to the reble, the unobtainable... The sexy man in the leather coat with the ciggerette that you know is nothing more than an attraction, and an adversion to the man who is more obsessed with you than in love with you and likes the idea of you more than actually knowing or likeing the real you. And me..." he cast his eyes down, thinking.
"Well, Ms. Oki... I'm just not sure I understand this whole business of dating... It's not something I've ever done... Or even really thought of previously to give you an honest insight..."
