When Yuki finally came to again - they were pulling into the terminal in the Thunder Country's Northern most boarder. Outside there was a light skiff of snow on the ground, and the mountains that surrounded them were shrouded in mist and snow capped. The fridgit air flowed in through the train windows, and Yuki rose to a very pleasent atmosphere, since the window had been left open for fresh air...

Oki was still sound asleep when the train pulled in to the station, but she had curled up around herself as the temperature dropped. She now rested huddled against the seat, her arms wrapped tightly around herself against the chill in the air.

Yuki stretched and tried to unkink his neck, breathing deeply the refreshing air... "Hey did..." he realized that this wasn't a climate Oki was exactly used to and smiled. Yuki tried to carefully wiggle his way out of his blazer and put it over Oki as a blanket. He slowly moved her legs off of his lap and got up, thinking when she woke up in a minute or two - a hot tea would be the best thing for her...

Oki happily snuggled under the blazer, murmuring slightly in her sleep as she wriggled to huddle under it. The movement, however, slowly began to rouse her from her slumber as did the absence of movement or the soft clatter of the train. There were new noises now, and she groaned softly as she came awake.
"Why does it have to be so cold!" she grumbled.

"It's hot," Yuki said, suddenly appearing from nowhere again - it was how he actually beat the crowds and got off and back on the train so quickly...
He was holding out a steaming styrofoam cup of tea to Oki. He smiled and gave a little chuckle... "It's a dry mountain cold... You'll get used to it fast..." He was beaming - he was in his element here...

Oki blinked at the cup in surprise and sat up, taking it from him gratefully.
"Wow, thanks Yuki."
She took a sip and sighed softly. Tea was a necessity of life, and Oki was glad to be on a mission that would allow for it.
"I don't know if I'll get used to the cold. I'll probably grow to tolerate it, but that might be about it. Balmy, or tropical, I could get used to. Not cold."

"Darling," Yuki said trying to get into character and failing out of the comical faucet. "This could prove a serious problem to our marriage..."
He was fighting the laughter, but the smile burned through...

"Well, sweety, this just means you'll have to take me somewhere warm during your next break from classes, since I'm coming with you for your falconry," Oki smirked. "I very much like beaches, and with all of that warm sand around it just necessitates the wearing of skimpy little bathing suits."

"Excellent, and I'll spend the entire vaccation in the walk-in cooler..." Yuki paused and thought. "How skimpy?" he said looking like he was trying to draw a mental picture - one that would be worth being on a hot beach...

"String bikini skimpy," Oki said firmly. "While I bask in the sun with a chilled drink full of fruit juice and a little paper umbrella. You can stay as long as you want in the cooler, I'm going to enjoy a lounge chair in the sun."

Yuki tilted his head... "Well... There would be an ocean if there's a beach... I can chill the water I suppose... You... Bikini... Might just be worth it," he said with at least a slightly less stupid grin. "Ready?" he asked, holding out his hand to help her up figuring she was lible to be at least as stiff as he had been when he woke up...

Oki shifted the tea into one hand and reached out to take Yuki's hand. She was a little stiff, but she was also used to sleeping in some odd positions.
"So much for using the trip to get ourselves figured out, huh? What are you teaching, any way?"

Yuki smiled. "Medieval warfare; tactics, tools, civilization and literature." Yuki smiled. "I live beneath a museum, and it makes sense with the falconry hobby - with a hawk," he said with a chuckle. "And my lovely wife is a kidergarten teacher?" he asked...

"Sounds about right, and it means I don't have to use the dumb blonde routine which is even better. Are we forgetting anything?"

Yuki picked up the empty cage. "Probably," he said placing a black silk cover over it. "You're good at winging it aren't you?" he said smiling over his shoulder first lifting down Oki's bag, and then his own...
