Kumori was in the market place looking for a new sword. He was hoping to be able to give to Kaliri after he trained her in the use of a sword. Walking into one blacksmith shop he looked at some of the swords on display, and picked a few of them up to check their weight. But all where too heavy. He knew he would have to get the sword custom made.

As Kumori held out one of the swords, an odd sight would appear in front of him... Especially for a smith's shop.... A small snowy owl landed on the sword looking at him. Tilted his head to one side and politely asked, "bwrrrrruwp?"
Out back, voices of a couple men could be heard talking...

Kumori arched and eyebrow at the Owl, and tried to move closer so he could hear what the men were talking about. He tried not to disturb the owl, by not letting the sword make any sudden movements as he moved.

When the owl got no reply he simply shrugged and flew into the back room to land on a young man's shoulder. The man absently reached up and pet the owl that had just landed there, and had a second owl on his other shoulder.
"Ok, I'll have the next load of fire wood here on Friday, Ok?"
The blacksmith nodded. "And here is the money for this one. You earned it..."
The young man was slightly out of breath and seemed to be sweating heavily as if he had just carried the full two cords of wood to the smith's shop on his own...

Kumori looked over at the young man, the smith was talking to. He then turned and went to replace the sword on the wall.

"Oh, I think you have a customer," Fukurou said.
The blacksmith gave a slight grunt of surprize and came around to check and see. "Anything I can help you with?" he asked the ninja...

"Thats ok, I was just looking at your swords trying to find a suitable one for a friend of mine." Kumori replied. He glanced around at the weapons on the wall, "Though none of these look suitable for her."

Fukurou stood in the doorway, trying to figure out how he would know how a weapon was 'suitable' for anyone.
"Well?" The blacksmith grunted, trying not to take offense... "What kind of sword would suite your friend?"

"Something light, but still having the reach of a normal katana. It would also have to be durable as it will see a lot of action." Kumori said looking at the black smith. He then reached inside his coat. There was a puff of smoke and he drew out a magnificent sword. IT was five and a half feet long, with a slight curve at the end. The blade was made of some type of black metal, and on the scabbard and hilt there was a word. 'Shadow'. "Designed similar to this but on a smaller scale. I also want a specially designed hilt for this weapon as well."
