Yuki didn't take anyone's advice, he didn't return home. Instead, he went to the training grounds and summoned Ikihane. They had had fun at the tournament, putting all of those falcons to shame, and that made Yuki realize that he hadn't spent nearly enough time with the hawk, and he needed to clear his head - what better way than training...
Yuki would launch a target with his kyoukan no-jutsu over the open field, and Ikihane would unfailingly dive, and destroy the ice sphere, or disk, or shape as Yuki tried to get more and more creative. The constant screech of the hawk's triumphant call echoed over much of the training grounds and academy.
Yuki wasn't smiling yet, and he was anything but carefree, but at least his head was starting to clear, and he thought he was starting to put things back in order...

"Noisy as ever Monkshood." A voice called out from behind him. He was writing something down on a pad of paper as he was looking over some of the trees and flowers nearby. He orginally wasn't going to say anything and let Yuki train but the noise was slowly getting to him today and he still had work to do in the area.

Yuki didn't turn immediately, and instead held out his arm for Ikihane to land on. When the hawk had landed and gotten his raw meat reward, Yuki turned and looked into the tree. "Monkshood?" Yuki asked, with no idea what-so-ever who this person was confusing him with. He squinted through his dark glasses, trying to even figure out who the hell it was...

"Mind like a steel trap I see but that doesn't matter." He walked out from the trees as he was still jotting down notes. As usual he was in one of his moods were he was more intersted in the plants than people. He droped down by a flower as he picked a few weeds out of the way.

"And some days the patience of a chopping block... Some days..." Yuki gave his hawk another piece of meat for him to gobble down...
Then it clicked - not with visual recognition, but with him bending to the flower. "Haru..." he said...

"That would be my name." He stood up once more as he was happy with the weeding of the few flowers that lived and survived in the training grounds. He turned as he placed his pad under his arm and spoke. "Like many I get the feeling your blowing off some steam right now."

"Like many?" Yuki asked, looking around and finding the place fairly barren. "Yeah... I think that's an understatement..." he confided after a second...
He nodded to Ikihane, and the hawk disappeared in a small puff of smoke. He'd summon him again when the time was right once more...

"Ah taking my words too literally it seems... I shall leave that debate to another time. For now I have a few more plants to look into here. Seems like someone got hurt recently and checking to see if my few plants are suitable to help the injuries." He commented as he pulled his pad of paper out again and made a few more marks on it before returning it under his arm.

"Alternative healing to what the medical nins offer?" Yuki questioned. He'd heard of herbs and the potential they had - in fact, he had several books on the subject - he'd just never so much as opened one of them...
