Fukurou was walking back, heading out of town with a rather large amount of cleaning supplies in a cloth bag tied around the handles of a broom and mop. What made him look odd, was that he was heading towards the forest, not a house...

Oki had been in the market, indulging in the guilty pleasure of a fashion magazine when she had seen Fukurou pass. She had paid for the magazine and begun following after him, originally just curious to see where he'd be headed. Now that she could see she had to follow through. How did the boy plan on cleaning the forest with a mop and bucket?

Fukuour walked, certainly into the forest, seemingly oblivious to the fact that anyone, let alone Ms. Oki was following him.
He walked aways down the path, and then paused. Turned to his left, and very carefully began to tip toe into the forest. He seemed to have a pattern memorized of exactly where he needed to step...

The pattern was interesting... Oki couldn't be completely sure of where Fukurou had placed his feet, so she decided to bypass the forest floor altogether. The trees offered better concealment, any way, and a far better view from their branches. She she began moving easily from branch to branch, Oki faintly hoped that Fukurou hadn't begun laying traps to discourage unwanted visitors. It wouldn't be a high point to her day...

Much to Oki's dismay then, she would no doubt see some of those traps. They were poorly set up here, and many of them had already been tripped. But they looked like they were very old traps, and that a very young ninja had awkwardly set them up...
Deep in the woods, completely shrowded from the view of the path they had been on, Fukurou unknowingly led Oki to a small log cabin with a thatched roof. There was a large garden growing on one side, and a full training field set up on the opposite side of the house.
Fukurou set his cleaning supplies down, and entered the house, opening the two windows to let some air inside...

Old an awkward traps could be avoided, although Oki did have to give props to whoever had set them. They had gone to a lot of trouble to ensure this place wouldn't be disturbed. At least Fukurou hadn't completely lost his mind.
Oki felt guilty for intruding on his solitude here, but a part of her was also pleased to see him actually living somewhere. She settled herself on a tree branch comfortably to watch the cabin.

Fukurou came out a few seconds later, and set all of the cleaning supplied and put them inside the door.
"Who is she?" he suddenly asked, but the view of him was obscurred by the roofline from where Oki was sitting...

Oki frowned, leaning forward slightly from her perch. Fukurou knew who she was, so he couldn't have spotted her even though she was making no effort to hide herself. She waited and listened, hoping she wouldn't have to intervene.

He shrugged and there was teh sound of something being hammered into the wall. "Must have blown down or something," he said to himself.
He sighed, surveying the mess. "How can an empty house get so dirty..."

Oki sighed with relief. A picture! Had to be, if it had blown down. That, and Oki really couldn't see Fukurou hammering anyone into a wall. But that suggested that Fukurou had taken over someone else's home, which was an interesting thought. Having had enough of hiding in shadows, Oki jumped down from the tree and approached the house in time to hear Fukurou's musing.
"You know, I asked myself the same question when I came home. I suspect the answer is spiders and possibly mice."

Fukurou wheeled around, the hammer in his hands now wreathed in fire from the surprise. Luckily, he hadn't burned the hand drawn picture of Akira that was now on the wall, wrinkled and whethered by the sun as it was..
"Ms. Oki!" he said, perhaps now even more surprised, but at least the flames disappeared...

"Hi!" Oki laughed with a wave. "I hope I'm not intruding, but I saw you with your goodies in town and I had to see what you were up to."

Fukurou sighed. "Baoh-sensai is making me stay here as long as he is training me... Or until I have Kitsi and Ruu back... And so, if I must live here, it should be cleaned properly. It should be cleaned at any rate..."

Oki quickly scanned what she could see of the cabin's interior. "The least he could have done is cleaned it," she said with disapproval. "Want a hand?"

Fukurou looked at her skeptically. "You have never been to this house in prior times, have you Ms. Oki? You don't know how Baoh came by it either, do you? Nor how I found it?"
