Lenore put her hand up near her face. "I shouldn't have told you that..." she studied him for a moment. "Don't tell anyone.... especially not Otomeken, anything I just told you.... they'll kill me. or worse. she'll cry!"

Yuki straightened up. "I'll assume you mean Kaliri would cry... I don't think Otomeken has a soft spot in her for anyone but Akira or Baoh," he said a little on the cold side, but more conversational than anything...

"Well, that's as true as I can figure. But Kaliri seems to have faith in her... which confuses me, but hey. If she hadn't had that much faith in her, I'd still be wandering. The way I figured, she saved my life, that girl can work miracles. But when it comes to those women, she seems to have this intense desire to save their souls. Yeah, it's Kaliri I meant." Finally Lenore took a breath, and kept walking, not even really watching where she was going, head down, frown on her face, lost in a moment of thought.

"Those women," Yuki mussed. "Otomeken and Rachi. I think one's as damned as the other," he said only half serrious, "but they enjoy the path they're on... Or, at least they will when they figure out where it leads..."

"One is destined for greatness, if she would only take her head out of-.... well, you know. And the other, gods bless her, won't find greatness on this path. At least, not in the way she thinks it will happen." Lenore slowed her brisk pace, stopping to look at the models of stationary, scrolls, paper in a myriad of colours and designs. Lazily, she strolled to a stop. "Hey." She murmered to Yuki. "I think....what do you think?" Just as suddenly, her trance dissipated as if it never were, and her sharp eyes pinned Yuki.

Yuki raised an eye brow. "About... those... two?" He asked, a little confused again... "I think Rachi is trying to be far more tough than she is, and that Otomeken is far too tough for her own good and its going to get each of them killed if they don't wisen up..."

Lenore waved her hand as if to dismiss the thought. "Otomeken's not tough, she's just scared." She said. "I meant the scrolls. What do you think? I have a beautiful poem in mind, but I want to put it on some nice paper... make a display piece. What do you think of these?" She asked, gesturing towards the stationary.

Yuki rubbed his face... Women.... always, it seemed, their minds ran on the opposite track, no matter how hard you tried to keep up. "Well, are you looking for beauty or antiquity?" he asked, his hand slipping down to rest on the scroll attached to his own belt...

Lenore thought for a moment. "WEll, either way, she'll think it's pretty. But yeah, I don't think it'll make as big an impression on her if it's antiquated. However, it does fit with the theme of the poem. So, one way or another, it really doesn't matter." She put her hand up to her face, and rubbed her knuckles along her bottom lip. "Hmm..." She murmered. "there's a purple one."

Yuki just shrugged. "Sorry, I don't know who it's for or the jist of the poem... I really don't think I can be much help..."

Lenore considered this for a moment. "It's for Kaliri. She's been kind of all over the place lately. She could really use support right about now. Lots of life issues have reared their ugly heads. Her family has turned against her, and now mine has, too. It's an unfortunate turn of events. She could use to know what's going to happen." Lenore faded back into her thoughtful haze for a moment. "Thus, the proph-...." She cut off abruptly. Her eyes widened. She looked at Yuki. "I mean poem. Thus the poem." She looked away again, and frowned.

Yuki arched a sardonic eyebrow. "You know I'm above such trickery... I recognise a froidian slip when I hear it... At the same time, I won't pry, what you want to tell me about something that has nothing to do with me or this village, that's up to you. Untill it becomes the issue of either myself or this village," he said making quite sure his point rang through...

Lenore cringed, hearing the thinly veiled threat to anything endangering the village. "Well.... " She let it trail off.... "Actually..... uh...." her eyes dropped to the ground and she shuffled her foot a bit.

Yuki's eye brow arched a little further up and he folded his arms across his chest, just looking at her, waiting for more to ensue...

Lenore sighed. "Well, I don't know that it has to do with the village exactly, but it's the reason that Kumori and Kaliri were in the hospital. They had a sort of run-in with the dark side of.... uh... poetry...." She licked her lips and waited for Yuki to say anything...
