Fukurou frowned over the lude speaking parot comment, but shook his head at the compliment. "No, I'm just a man. The only amazing part is that dispite being human, I took the time to listen. A trait our species is not well known for. Although," he paused looking at Oki, "given your choices in words today, I would say that you deserve comodation for such an admirable quality as well Ms. Oki..."

Oki blushed. "You're very kind, Fukurou, but like you I don't think I've done anything special. I just always try to keep an open mind and to speak honestly. I mean, if I didn't I'd have never been able to play frizbee with Ruu and I wouldn't have been able to learn so much from you."

"I have then acomplished the goal of every student and instructed the instructor?" Fukurou teased, but once more shrugged off the compliment. "You are the one who bears the symbol of her country... I don't think you have anything to learn from me. But I am at least glad that you find the company so enjoyabe."

"I'm always open to learning, Fukurou, no matter what it is. So far you've taught me the owls like cheese, some play frizbee, and that if we listened hard enough we could all listen to Ruu tell his life's story," she grinned. "So you've instructed the instructor on a great deal, and I thank you for it. And I very much enjoy the company! I hope you do as well. I'm pretty sure Ruu does..."

In unison, both Kitsi and Fukurou rolled their eyes as Ruu bwurrrrped out his agreeance for the state of fact.
"Although I'm not sure his ego needed any more stroking, I'm sure..."
Fukurou was interupted by Ruu's next "bwurrrp?"
"Well... I could..." Fukurou said, and then looked from Ruu to Oki. "Ruu would like to know if you'd care to join us for some supper? It will be rabbit, flame cooked, and some steamed vegitables..."

"I would love to, but I may have to take a rain check on it. I kind of have a promise to keep right now to a friend."

"Then you should be off," Fukurou said, though Ruu looked a little disapointed. "Promices are not made lightly, and often carry a very depressing weight if broken."
He reached out to take Ruu back, and gave Oki a deep, and respectful bow...

Oki bowed back. "Don;t be so disappointed, Ruu. Once I keep my promise, I'll have dinner with all of you. Promise. To make it up to you, we can even d it twice and I can cook the second time. Deal?"

Ruu began to chitter uncontrolably, until at last, Kitsi had had enough, walked down Fukurou's arm, and back handed the white owl with his wing. Turned, and walked back up, and resumed what looked like his slumber, once more.
Fukurou, couldn't help but laugh at the stunned look on Ruu's face...

Oki gaped at Kitsi before she, too, dissolved into laughter.
"Kitsi! That wasn't very nice at all! Poor Ruu... But I'm guessing he finds my compromise acceptable?"

Fukurou reached out for Ruu and gave a partial bow as well. "We will see you for a supper when it is you are at leisure..."

Handed Ruu back and returned the partial bow. "I look forward to it. You three take care!"
With a smile and a final wave, Oki walked back the way they had come to retrieve her staff and get in the training she had come to do.
