A one sided conversation (open to all)

[Fukurou]

"Bwurrp" The white owling said.

"That's not fair. I do so know how to throw it, I just don't see how it could be used as a real weapon," the person on whom the owl was seated argued back.

"Bwurrrrrrp." the owl reitterated, tilting its head slightly.

"What do you know, you don't even have thumbs!"

"Bwurrrp Bwurrrrr."

"You're not evening listening to yourself, are you?"

At that, the blonde boy got a face full of feathers from the other owl seated on his opposite shoulder. Apparently, raising his voice had disturbed Kitsi's slumber...

[Oki]

Oki stepped out on to the training grounds, staff slung casually over her shoulder, with every intention of getting some practice in. Just because she was home didn't mean she could slack off, after all! At first, she took no notice of the blond young man and began to stretch and warm herself up. It wasn't until she began to hear the conversation he seemed to be having with himself that she looked up and began to watch him. When she observed the smaller shapes with him, she became very confused and forgot all about her training. She simply stood, leaning on her staff with her head cocked to the side watching.

[Fukurou]

Fukurou grumbled. "Fine... But I don't like weapons anyway, so why would I even want to learn to use it as one?"

"Bwurrrrp," the white owl said.

"That makes no sense what so every!"

"Bwurrrp," it reitterated.

"Don't even go..." Fukurou turned around and finally realized he had been being watched. "Oh... Excuse me..." he said, a little embarassed; not by the fact he was talking to two baby owls, but by the raised voice...

[Oki]

Oki blinked after finally being noticed and waved a hand dismissively. "No, excuse me. It was rude of me to stand here and listen to you like this. You just took me by surprise, is all." She paused a moment, thinking.

"Um, if I may be so forward, who are you talking to?"

[Fukurou]

Fukurou rolled his eyes in frustration. "Ruu," he said, annoyed. "He's sitting here telling me I should train with this frizbee to use it like a weapon because "all ninjas need weapons," he moched, "and I don't currently use any except what god gave me."

"Oh yeah, where's your weapon?" He asked the white baby owl on his shoulder...

"Bwurrrrrp," it replied indignantly.

"You can't even throw the thing!" Fukurou yelled back, but blushed in front of Oki when he realized he had raized his voice again...

[Oki]

Oki couldn't help but giggle at the exchange and she stepped forward.

"Actually, he probably has a good idea with that one. If you can improve your aim with a frizbee, you'll have an easier time with kunai and shuriken. You could also probably devise a way to use a discus of some sort to disarm an opponant. Ruu's actually a pretty clever little fellow."

[Fukurou]

Fukurou, seeing the girl's forehead protector, was not about to argue with someone superior to himself, he didn't, however, like the smug fluffed up look the little white owl took on at the compliment...

The baby barn owl on his other shoulder gave Oki a rather weird look as if to say. "rly? You think he's cleaver? You know nothing then sweetheart..."

[Oki]

Oki giggled as the little white owl fluffed himself up and began to preen proudly.

"It's a long shot," she amended. "But stranger things have happened. I had to use a blindfold before I could anything when I was learning."

[Fukurou]

The girl now had the full attention of all three, but it was the human who spoke. "A blindfold... Improved your aim?" He looked down at the frizbee in his hands and wondered if it were something he should try or not. He didn't like the idea of using weapons, it seemed like cheating to him somehow but...

[Oki]

Oki laughed. "I know, it sounds crazy right? But it's the honest truth!" She held her hand up as though taking an oath.

"When I first started training I couldn't hit anything because I was too focused on my target to actually see it, or to be able to see myself hitting it. By using the blindfold, or by closing my eyes, I was better able to focus my thoughts and envision what I was trying to accomplish. Kinda like mind over matter." She winked.

[Fukurou]

Fukurou's brows twitched. "So that's why that guy kept closing his eyes every time he through it for you," he said both to himself and to the white owl on his shoulder...

"Bwurrrrrp!" Ruu confirmed.

"Ok then," Fukurou said, trying to chance it, "eyes open..." He let lose the frizbee and it whirled within ten feet of a tree he looked to be aiming at.

"Eyes closed," he said, as he drew another frizbee out of a back pack (he seemed to have scores of them on hand). He hurled the next frizbee with eyes closed, and as soon as it left his hand, it ignited. It didn't make it anywheres near the tree since it fell less than twenty feet from him due to the fire, but it was impressive for other reasons...

[Oki]

Oki gasped when the frizbee ignited and she quickly performed a series of hand seals. The water in the nearby pool quickly rose up and streamed towards the burning frizbee. Steam when up with a hiss as the water fell upon the smoldering remains, and Oki waved the acrid smoke from her face with a hand.

"Well then. That was a trifle unexpected..."

[Fukurou]

"Holy cow!" Fukurou yelled. "I've never made it rain before!" he said, quite excited when he reopened his eyes again.

Both owls covered their eyes with their wings in disbelief...

[Oki]

Oki tried not to laugh, but she couldn't help but smile at the young man's excitement. She hid it behind her hand.

"With such unpredictable fire techniques like yours, you might do well to see if you can master any water jutsus. You know, to minimize potential damage..."

[Fukurou]

"Well, the fire thing I'm used to, that happens all the time when something comes a little too close to me... But I've never done anything to control wat... buvvvvfff, buvvvg!"

Kitsi's wing slapped Fukurou across the mouth, stopping him right there in his tracks...
