This was cruel, even for Ebisu...
Yuki was tied in more knots than a demolition fuse seconds before implosion. He was also hanging several feet off the ground by the ropes that held his elbows together behind his back. His wrists were tied, his elbows were tied, his knees were tied, and his ankles were not only tied, but tied to his wrists pulling them up behind him as well... Yuki knew Ebisu was good, but he didn't think that his sensai could move THAT fast... What made matters worse; Ebisu had also placed a little kitten on a pillow not far from Yuki, keeping a half-open eye on him to make sure he didn't just cross the veil and leave the ropes behind...
Yuki struggled and struggled, but it wasn't doing a lot of good...
Upstairs, Ebisu had left the door open, and a sticky note on the book Oki would have to pull out to open the stairway to the basement to get down and see the predicament Yuki currently found himself in...

Oki quietly slipped in through the front door and made her way toward the bookcase. She smiled when she saw the sticky note, crumpling it in her hand as she pulled out the book. She hadn't needed the note; she remembered the book from the first time she had been here, but she tucked the wad of paper into her bag as she slipped down the stairs. When she saw Yuki she couldn't help but smirk.
"Well aren't you just trussed up nicely!"

Yuki's look of determination and struggle froze when he saw Oki there, and then he sighed. "Ebisu's idea of proving a point. Guess he got you here to really prove it huh?" he asked, thinking Oki was only there to embarass him rather than to try to teach him... Yuki looked over his shoulder for a moment, looking like he was trying to actually see the knot that held him...

"Actually, he sent Ikihane to ask me if I had time to teach you," Oki replied casually, studying the knots. "I had no idea he'd left you so... deeply engaged in the lesson. Can you actually move tied up like that?"

Yuki closed his fists when Oki came closer to examine the knots, and waited till she'd moved back in front of him before he continued to struggled against his bonds. "Not... Much...." he said. "And that thing..." he said, nodding in the direction as best he could, "is making sure I 'really' don't move... He said and shook his head... He didn't seem overly scared, but still... The damn cat was there...

"Leave it to Ebisu to go overkill," Oki muttered, shaking her head. She found where the rope was anchored and untied it, carefully lowering Yuki to the floor. Gods, gut he was lighter in the pool... She knelt beside Yuki, beginning to untie the knots. "I'm surprised you haven't learned this one already, but let's start out with something a little simpler so you actually stand a chance?"

Yuki smiled and chuckled lightly as Oki started to untie him. "I almost had it," he said opening his hand to reveal a small ice pic that he was about to use to start cutting himself free...

Oki frowned at the sliver of ice. "No, you almost cheated your way out of it and that's not what Ebisu is trying to teach you." She finished with the last on the knots and remained kneeling on the floor, smoothing her skirt over her legs unconsciously. "Now, why don't you tell me what you know about the technique you're supposed to be using so I know where we need to start."

Yuki tilted his glasses down to look at Oki. She was already overestimating him...
He sighed. "I'd like to say I know the theory inside and out but... If I knew it... I'd do it, by now at least..." He shook his head, but he was still smiling. "You force your chakra into the ropes, visualize the knot, and let your chakra act as an extension of your physical self, and make it untie the knots for you... Right?"

"Essentially, yes," Oki nodded. "Or you can modify it a bit and use your chakra to help loosen the ropes so you can move. You've got the theory, so it's just applying that you seem to have trouble with..."
Oki reached up and pulled the ribbons from her hair and tied the two of them together so she had a decent length to work with. "Put your hands up in front of you, wrists together," she instructed.

Yuki eyed her for a second, but then did as instructed. She was so calm. He thought that being together with him, alone, more or less in his bedroom, she would be on edge, but it seemed like those thoughts were the furthest from her mind as they worked together...

Oki was very much aware of where she was, and her insides were burning uncomfortably. She had promised she wouldn't spend time alone with Yuki like this, and it wasn't how she had envisioned spending her Saturday even if she was unhappy with Baoh right now, but she had a job to do and she focused on that. When Yuki had done as she had asked, she tied the strip of satin around his wrists and tied it tightly, leaving just enough room for him to be able to wriggle a bit, with a secure knot.
"No phasing, no ice, no tricks," Oki said calmly. "Focus your chakra and see if you can get out of that."

Yuki frowned. That was why she was here.... Ebisu knew that he would listen to her...
Yuki closed his eyes. He summoned his chakra, and he poured it out. Picturing it... Trying... The ribbon didn't even budge, move, twitch, or give a hint that it was working.... It simply became encased in ice...

Oki looked down at the ice, arching a brow. "Not... quite the effect I was hoping for. Hey Yuki, you know that trick you used to show me your chakra? Do you think you could use it to feel mine?"

Yuki swallowed. "You... Know how that... Felt... The last time," he said cautiously, knowing that if he did that again, Oki would feel his every thought and emotion...
